Yeah it is 4 hours long, grow up! I love Jenny’s deep dives into super specific aspects of fandoms and pop culture. Her critique is witty and poignant and I think she did an amazing job highlighting why companies like Disney are taking advantage of their consumers’ good will for profit via the rise and fall of the Star Wars hotel.
Just split it up into different sections and have it in the background while you’re doing chores. I think it’s worth it.I’ve been baking a lot lately and getting a lot of joy out of it. It’s been mostly conchas. Flavors I’ve developed so far are chocolate, vanilla, coffee with cardamom sugar, earl gray with earl gray sugar, pistachio, and black sesame. I am very proud of these beauties. Let me know if you would like some.

This is one of the greats for a reason. Also exposes some facets of city living—isolation, loneliness, voyeurism, not talking to your neighbors, etc during post war consumerism, when people had to leave their homes less because of new technology like laundry machines and refrigerators. time is a circle!!
